REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years Customer service experience (retail, hospitality, travel)
- Proven medical administration and/or reception experience in a medical/clinical environment (Preferred)
- Able to commit to Full-time Rotating Roster - 7:30AM - 6:30PM (8hr shifts) Monday - Friday
- Hold a valid Working with Children check or happy to obtain one
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with medical software and office technology.
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
As the Medical Administrator & Receptionist, you will be the heartbeat of the front desk, you’ll wear multiple hats, ensuring the smooth operation of both reception and administrative functions. Your role will be pivotal in creating an environment where patients feel not just seen, but truly cared for.
Your exceptional communication skills and friendly demeanor will set the tone for our patients’ experience from the moment they walk through the door.
The working hours for this role is on a rotating roster from 7:30AM - 6:30PM (8 hour shift). Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients politely and communicate in a respectful and compassionate manner, in person, on the telephone and in electronic correspondence.
- Triage urgent conditions both by telephone and once at the practice
- Enter new patient details / manage currency of patient details
- Making and rescheduling patient appointments appropriately
- Managing doctors schedules
- Billing and receipting patients and operating all aspects of the EFTPOS machine.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Execute administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.
