Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 annual salary based on experience

Our client is an international banking and financial institution with divisions located in the Americas, Europe, Asia,and the Middle East. They are establishing their first Canadian office and are expecting exponential growth.
They are looking for an associate to perform daily reconciliations to support CMO products booked into several operational systems used by the firm to the general ledger used for monthly reporting. The role also includes the performance of procedures which enhance our control over such accounts and maintain the integrity and compliance of our books and records.

Key responsibilities are the production of all reconciliations for the department:

• Cash/Settlement Wash Accounts / Sub-system to the Firm’s main General Ledger
• CMO products Fixed Income and Equities to include inventory/repos/Stock Borrow/Loan and Deposits/Money Markets and Derivatives.
• Futures Margin Statement and daily reconciliation of the Commodity Broker Statement.
• Stock Record Reconciliations 15A6 Fail Reconciliation/ Wash Account monitoring/ Testing Customer Statements/ Qtrly Securities Count required by SEC rule/ Aldop reconciliations/ Aged Break reporting and monitoring.
• Ability to perform ADHoc Reconciliations on demand.
• Product Knowledge of Fixed Income and Equities. Month End Close process.
• Ability to multitask.
• Broker Dealer Knowledge is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to work across different departments within the Firm
• Strong computer skills a must and be able to multitask.
• The ability to Interact with external auditors is necessary.
• Clear Communication skills verbal and oral necessary.
• Possess the ability to work independently .
• Ability to use Microsoft Office.
