POSITION SUMMARY:

This Registration and Records Assistant assists Registration and Records Specialist in adding, maintaining, and updating client information in the Management Information System (MIS). The Registration and Records Assistant will also be responsible for tracking and monitoring existing data for client charts, First Offered Intake/Assessment and First Offered Routine Services, assist in quality control of correct services encounters being entered in the MIS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position normally requires the physical demands of sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking, hearing and adequate vision on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.

EDUCATION

  • Associates Degree or business school training preferred
  • Completion of recognized course in data entry operation, preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years experience in data entry within a collaborative team environment

SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Knowledgeable of Community Mental Health System and requirements
  • Ability to manage high detail administrative tasks
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but required
  • Flexibility in scheduled work hours
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player
