Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in records management, information science, library science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in records management, document control, or related roles.
- Knowledge of records management principles, practices, and standards, including retention schedules, classification systems, and metadata standards.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS), records management software, and database management tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recordkeeping policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and efficient management of records.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic records, files, and databases, ensuring proper indexing, categorization, and storage.
- Establish retention schedules and disposal guidelines for records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
- Monitor recordkeeping practices to ensure compliance with privacy laws, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on recordkeeping best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the development and implementation of electronic document management systems (EDMS) or records management software.
- Coordinate the transfer, accession, and disposition of records between departments, storage facilities, or archival repositories.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of recordkeeping practices, systems, and controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to requests for information, records, or documentation from internal staff, external stakeholders, or regulatory agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information and records at all times.
