BIG MAMMA is a bunch of more than 2200 cool guys behind the 25 most iconic Italian restaurants & Food Market in the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Italy. With more than 10.000 clients a day, extremely warm places, an authentic cuisine, products imported directly from Italy, everything 100% fresh and 100% homemade.
We are looking for a Recruiter & HR Assistant (m/f/d) to join our dedicated HR team based in Berlin Mitte. The role involves full-cycle recruitment for our 3 locations in Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich), on-site visits, various HR administration responsibilities and some exciting projects.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Recruitment in a fasted-paced environment (where in hospitality and restaurants even better).
  • Good understanding of HR processes and practices (nice to have basic knowledge on local employment law and regulatory compliance).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll process.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent written and spoken communication in Italian & English (German nice to have).
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to driving HR initiatives
    Languages: Preferebly italian speaker & english/ german is nice to have :)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers (restaurant GMs) to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Support actively the onboarding process for hirings coming from italy.
  • Source, screen and interview candidates using a variety of channels (Team Tailor, Indeed, Linkedin etc.)
  • Support HR activities as needed (such as workshops, onboarding, employer branding)
  • Supporting in the monthly payroll preparation and control for circa 250 staff.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees regarding HR admin related inquiries and issues.
  • Back office & HRIS management, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee digital and paper records
  • Perform administrative activities such as drafting letters, contracts, mailings, presentations, etc.;
