This is a hybrid in person and remote contract position.

What is a Recruiter?
As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter is accountable for attracting, assessing, and hiring candidates for the organization. The Recruiter will identify and leverage various recruitment channels and tactics in order to develop robust pipelines for their business. By building strong relationships within the organization and the community, the Recruiter will be able to partner effectively with their hiring teams, candidates, and partners to deliver a continuous stream of talent.

What you will be doing:

  • Upload, monitor, and track postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Identify strategic sourcing opportunities and participate in community events
  • Review and assess applications
  • Conduct prescreening interviews
  • Schedule interviews with Hiring Leaders and participate in interviews as required
  • Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process
  • Review reports and analyze data to meet targets
  • Working in a hybrid capacity at this time

Experience you bring:

  • Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources
  • Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume recruitment required
  • Working knowledge of recruitment and selection and ATS
  • Experience in proactive candidate sourcing
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment is an asset
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Superior customer service skills and communication skills
  • Passion for making a real difference in the lives of people in your community
