About the role:
Reporting to the Recruitment & Panel Manager, the Recruitment Administrator / Coordinator will support the recruitment process of prospective Foster & Kinship Carers from first contact, through to their assessment and approval, delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Some other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Arranging and conducting initial advice visits to prospective foster carers to assess their potential to foster within the agency’s prescribed timeframes.
  • Completing the recruitment phase of the carer selection process in line with Department Regulations, Key Assets’ policies and procedures, and best practice guidance.
  • Undertake all administration tasks pertinent to the process of recruiting and assessing foster and kinship carers.
  • Assist with the co-ordination and implementation of advertising and events in collaboration with the Recruitment & Panel Manager and the National Marketing Team.

About you:

  • At least 2 years’ administration experience, including setting up office systems and procedures.
  • Competent with technology and general software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to compose clear, accurate and concise reports, letters and memos.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both directly and through the telephone.Willingness to travel occasionally and attend recruitment and PR events, meetings and training.
