Are you a dynamic individual who has a real passion for recruitment? We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, self-motivated advisor eager to truly own full recruitment lifecycle responsibilities for NAIT. A strong client focus and excellent HR customer service play an important part to be successful in this role. Our recruitment advisors work in partnership with hiring managers to provide a full range of recruitment expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all recruitment processes for entry to intermediate level positions
  • Develop or collaborate on the development of interview plans, chair interview panels taking detailed notes, select appropriate assessment tools, establish salary grid placements, deliver offers and regrets, and also provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Ensure interviews are fair, consistent and in alignment with Human Rights practices
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn for current and future opportunities
  • Provide ‘just-in-time’ training to hiring managers while working on competitions
  • Work collaboratively with the broader recruitment enhancement team to implement measures identified in our Recruitment Enhancement Project
  • General recruitment related administrative duties including file maintenance and routine data entry
  • Track the collection and storage of relevant competition records for providing recruitment statistics
  • Provide back-up support and leave coverage for Recruitment Assistant
  • Other responsibilities and project work as required

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • A real passion for recruitment and drive to connect the right people to the right opportunities
  • Must be a self-starter, be accountable and be extremely organized. This position works in a very fast-paced environment, running several competitions simultaneously
  • The successful incumbent must have a strong client support focus and be an effective communicator with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Although the recruiter will work very collaboratively with other HR team members and others across all NAIT areas, they must also be able to work independently, display good initiative, be self-aware and have excellent time management skills
  • Must be administratively savvy and adept with organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential to success in this role

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 2 years of full recruiting experience, preferably in a post-secondary environment
  • Experience with LinkedIN
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft
  • Experience in the use of Peoplesoft and StartDate (ATS) would be beneficial
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
    Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
    Remuneration: $54,716 - $72,497 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification – Excluded X126).
