Description:
Change lives, be a career maker for New Zealand’s future Doctors
We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role will see you be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process and beyond for a portfolio of specialties for our training doctors within the Auckland region.
Whether you come from an agency background wanting to explore internal recruitment, or you are an experienced internal recruiter interested in learning more about the Health sector, it doesn’t matter. It will be your infectious enthusiasm, natural inclination, proven capability for creative sourcing of candidates and converting them to placements, and ability to jump on board and hit the ground running, that we are looking for.
You will be a part of a team recruiting junior doctors and facilitating their clinical run allocations (their training) on behalf of the Auckland region. A typical doctor’s training journey can last up to 7 years post-graduation, so their ongoing career development and facilitating their training requirements form a big part of the role.
You will be super organised, constantly seeking to find solutions, and be excited at the prospect of working with multiple stakeholders. You will need a strong analytical brain – this role is more than recruitment. Our training grids are agile and can be complex, so your attention to detail and ability to think one step ahead is paramount.
There has never been a more exciting time to join us - we work to support three amazing districts that offer world-renowned training through our tertiary teaching hospitals.
You can and will make a difference.
