Description:

  • 3-4 months

As a Recruitment Intern, you will assist our team in various aspects of the recruitment process. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • This could become a paid position at the end of the program, depending on the intern’s performance.
  • This position is ideal for college/university students looking for a part-time co-op or internship as part of the COOP course requirements to graduate.
  • Duration: 3-4 months
  • Work Schedule: 2-3 days/week (20-25 hrs)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-graduate or post-secondary program focused on Human Resources with a required co-op work term.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in recruitment or HR is a plus, but not required
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability and interest.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics.
  • Support the HR team in preparing offers, contracts and other documents as required.
  • Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate record-keeping of recruitment activities.
  • Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
