SIX MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT RECRUITMENT OFFICER

Are you up for a challenging role in the Human Resources Department? We are seeking a highly motivated individual with recruitment experience, excellent communication and administrative skills, and a desire to learn and improve. As part of a small recruitment team, you will be responsible for a range of recruitment activities in a fast-paced blue-collar environment at Harvey Beef. This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level and be mentored towards a career pathway in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alongside current recruitment officers ensure all end-to-end recruitment needs are met at the Harvey Beef site for production employees.
  • Daily review of all applicants from advertising platforms and reporting of progress
  • Conduct job interviews and reference checks to ensure candidates’ skills and qualifications match the job requirements.
  • Ensure all onboarding and offboarding requirements are met, including checking work rights, booking pre-employment medicals and preparing for inductions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour legislation, implementing required changes to keep company recruitment processes compliant.
  • Act as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Develop and maintain advertising and new opportunities to recruit talent across the business
