Applications are invited for the regular position of part-time Recruitment Production Associate in the Student Recruitment Division. The starting salary is $26.26 /hr for a 24-hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. Campus location may vary but will be based in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment Productions and Activations, the successful candidate will assume a pivotal role within the team, assisting in ensuring the availability and efficient utilization of departmental resources. They will optimize processes to enhance efficiency, supporting outreach and on campus activities in prospecting and engaging potential students. Moreover, the incumbent will assist with recruitment events by supporting the recruitment production process through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two (2) year diploma in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Humanities, Social Sciences, or similar field of study
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience to include work in customer service, student engagement, logistical, data-entry and/or CRM work
  • Experience in education / student recruitment is deemed an asset credential from Niagara College and/or demonstrated knowledge and passion for the Ontario College system will be looked favourably upon
  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system will be seen as an asset
  • Frontline sales and marketing experience an asset
  • A comprehensive knowledge of secondary school and post-secondary school markets will be viewed as an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to manage priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
  • Must have a valid G class driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the recruitment team by maintaining inventory levels of assets and consumables, ensuring they are readily available for recruitment activities; the incumbent will collaborate closely with the Manager of Production and Activations to streamline the ordering process for necessary items
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth collaboration and communication throughout the procurement process
  • Utilizing CRM reporting and engaging in recruitment production activities to procure, prepare, and allocate assets and recruitment materials for events ahead of schedule
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that the centralized Recruitment Calendar in Outlook reflects all upcoming recruitment events accurately
  • Ensuring that event strategies and activities adhere to budgetary constraints while identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality ir effectiveness of recruitment events
  • Collaborating with internal college departments to process recruitment support requests while monitoring the progress of assigned requests and ensuring timely completion while maintaining communication with faculty/staff regarding status updates
  • Analyzing CRM data to identify trends and insights that can inform future recruitment strategies and event planning efforts
  • Coordinating logistical support for small- and large-scale events across multiple territories including CIP, OCF, Skills Ontario and ensuring all necessary assets are set up appropriately
  • Collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment while also demonstrating the capability to work autonomously when necessary
  • Having the availability to travel for up to a week at a time and demonstrating flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed
