ABOUT THE TEAM
Located at MILVEHCOE in Redbank, Ipswich, the HR Operations team provides support and guidance across our National and International footprint in the areas of Payroll, Safety, Organisational & Workforce Development, Veterans Engagement, Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Health and Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, Administration and IR/ER.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and play a crucial role in our hiring success.
You can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms and social media;
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability for specific roles;
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates;
- Analyse and report on recruitment channels (job boards, social media, referrals etc.); to assist in allocating resources effectively;
- Drive continuous improvement via regular review of recruitment analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimisation and continuously assist in the improvement of our recruitment strategies;
- Collaborate with recruiters to understand hiring needs and priorities;
- Participation at industry events and careers fairs;
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and databases to manage candidate information; and
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Resourcer or in a similar role;
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques;
- Expertise in using online platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK etc.) for strategic sourcing and talent pooling initiatives;
- Knowledge and user experience of contemporary e-recruitment/ATS systems including compiling weekly reports on recruitment activities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
- Organised with strong attention to detail;
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship); and
- Prior Australian Defence experience will be highly regarded
