JOB OVERVIEW
Recruitment Specialist, Internal Mobility is part of a team within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (TAI CoE) for RWJBarnabas Health responsible for handling the internal hiring process from application to offer including but not limited to: posting positions, screening internal candidates, selecting internal candidates, and ensuring an exceptional candidate and manager experience through the entire transfer process. This role will execute talent acquisition strategies around internal mobility. Reporting to Leadership within TAI, this role will contribute to business needs by handling the internal recruitment process.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study. Prior talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Planning, communication, and organizational skills are required. Including, but not limited to, the ability to work independently, have high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meeting established deadlines.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proven negotiation skills that demonstrate the ability to close offers to candidates.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships.
- Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Fully embody the culture and core values of RWJBarnabas Health and lead by example.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides support to current RWJBarnabas Health employees regarding interdepartmental transfers and promotional opportunities
- Work with efficiency to move internal candidates through the internal recruitment process
- Verify and capture license and certification requirements, providing copies as part of the internal onboarding process utilizing the Internal Transfer Communication email template
- Execute internal recruitment strategies, including building a strong internal candidate pipeline of highly qualified and diverse talent for vacant positions
- Ability to prioritize vacant positions and to focus on building an internal candidate pipeline for those critical position openings
- Establishes and fosters productive working relationships with Hiring Managers, internal candidates, and other stakeholders to achieve assigned hiring goals
- Uses interpersonal savvy to foster productive working relationships with others in Talent Acquisition & Innovation to drive results.
- Has a closer mentality, uses negotiation skills to secure offers with internal candidates
- Delivers on candidate, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders requests with a sense of urgency to build a reputation of trust
- Communicates with internal candidates, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders in an authentic way. Conveys messages clearly and concisely in a timely manner
- Forms genuine relationships and is trusted by internal candidates, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders
- Executes and maintains effective recruitment/retention programs and develops strategies to attract and retain qualified internal candidates.
- Maintains a deep understanding of the RWJBarnabas Health enterprise and its recruitment strategies, hiring needs, and business goals
- Leverages modern recruitment practices, including technology and social media strategies, to produce results that meet the business hiring needs
- Ensures a professional and enjoyable candidate experience throughout the selection, interview process, and offer extension
- Maintains applicant tracking system and HR reporting as required
- Assist with planning and execution of Talent Acquisition & Innovation special events (i.e. Recruitment Events, Open Houses, Orientation, etc.)
