Description:

Are you a motivated individual with a keen interest in assisting talent acquisition efforts and delivering excellent administrative support? ASR Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Support Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting our General Manager with recruitment activities and managing day to day general administration tasks.
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity (Monday to Thursday) school hours based in Newcastle.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Support: Collaborate closely with our General Manager to identify, assess, and interview potential candidates for various positions. Assist in conducting reference checks and additional screening processes as necessary.
Onboarding Management: Take the lead in managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately. Offer support to new employees to ensure a seamless integration into their new organisations.
Administrative Assistance: Provide general administrative support to the General Manager and wider team, including managing schedules, arranging meetings, and maintaining documentation related to recruitment activities, as well as basic marketing tasks through social media and making web updates (no marketing experience required).

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in recruitment support or solid administration experience with a willingness to learn.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication with candidates, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and a willingness to take initiative in supporting the General Manager and the recruitment team
