Description:

People2people are recruiting for an In-House Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join a very respected creative business based in Winchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire recruitment process for the business as well as owning the responsibility to improve retention and development of current staff members.
Working to represent the company and brand to the highest level, the successful candidate will strive to constantly improve the internal processes for recruitment, whilst indirectly improving the performance of the company. Based in the office full time, you will be easily commutable to Winchester and be happy to join a creative and dynamic company.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Previous in house recruitment experience, ideally within a creative environment, although this is not essential.
  • Experience of providing HR support (CIPD qualification is a huge bonus but relevant work experience will also be considered).
  • General understanding of employment law
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Natural and confident communicator and expert relationship builder

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal managers to understand the future hiring requirements, assisting to create job descriptions in the search for the best talent.
  • Conduct interviews either independently or along side hiring managers
  • Think outside the box when it comes to creating talent pools, such as the utilisation of social media, meeting with universities and building relationships with specialised recruitment agencies.
  • Make sure all contracts and offer letters are compliant and up to date for new starters.
  • Be the main point of contact for new recruits during the induction period.
  • Help to create employee wellbeing initiatives for current staff members and regularly hold surveys to find out what is truly important to current staff members.
  • Monitoring attrition rates, review exit interview data and be aware of trends, making sure to use this information to change or update the hiring process.
  • Create procedures to support employee development and assist with training and development planning
  • Be a trusted member of the team where there is a two-way communication channel to receive employee feedback
  • Provide support to managers to assist with L&D development ideas and goals for the team
  • Management of the staff appraisal process
