RED SEAL MILLWRIGHT - LICENSED INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC WITH POWER ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE

Our client, a leading company in the food and beverage industry, seeks to engage a licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - as soon as possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

An Interprovincial Journeyman License (required);
Millwright certification, dual-ticket Electrician / Millwright a strong asset;
Power Engineering experience;
Minimum 5 years of experience in production / line machine maintenance;
Experience in line maintenance within a food and beverage production environment is preferred.
Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and wear PPE in designated areas;
Adhere to food quality and safety standards as per quality systems and SQF requirements;
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical / electronic equipment;
⁠Execute complex corrective and preventative maintenance based on a strong understanding of mechanical theories and principles;
Drive improvements in work order effectiveness, completion rates, backlog reduction, and establish prioritized work orders with enhanced methods and procedures;
⁠⁠Contribute to measurable improvements in maintenance-related downtime and associated costs, supporting CPC goals and sharing best practices across the enterprise;
