The Bradford District Care Foundation Trust Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team are recruiting and we’re looking for someone who is:

We are looking for someone who is confident in working with a wide range of people. Someone who can demonstrate a range of skills including community engagement and co-production, project and culture change management, communications and marketing, identifying and creating evidence based innovations and best practice in health services, training development and delivery, web and intranet page design and maintenance, someone who can contribute to strategy and policy development, analyse data and build strong networks for change.
We aim to deliver using co-production and involvement, evidence-based approaches and interventions. We are keen to strengthen our approach to evaluation and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:

The EDI – Reducing Health Inequalities Lead will work with the EDI Team and leads from across the organisation and wider partnership groups to ensure that the Trust is meeting all of the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and the Statutory Duties relating to tackling Health Inequalities.
The post will support various programmes of work such as the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework, the Accessible Information Standard, the Sexual Orientation Monitoring Standard and NHS Rainbow Badge Scheme.
These programmes aim to improve access, patient experience and the outcomes of people living with long-term conditions in Bradford, Airedale and Craven, whilst reducing health inequalities. It will include action to reduce the occurrence of long-term conditions and multimorbidity and optimise outcomes, prevent complications and address the wider determinants of health. Achieving this will require partnership working across the Trust and with other health and care organisations.
