Description:
One of our food production clients is looking for a Ref B or 3rd Class Power Engineer in Vaughan, ON.
Shift - Straight Days
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license or refrigeration B certification
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to TSSA regulations while operating the ammonia refrigeration system.
- Regularly conduct facility inspections and provide maintenance support for non-refrigerated mechanical devices within the building.
- Identify and investigate irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Review work orders and discuss tasks with the supervisor.
- Carry out scheduled Preventive and Predictive maintenance services.
- Complete logs and communicate with Supervisors, Managers, and equipment operators regarding the performed tasks.
- Initiate and lubricate the drive chain for the Freezer.
