Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Multiple opportunities exist for experienced Planners to join Queensland Rails Strategy and Planning team. Reporting into the Asset Planning Manager and ideally based in either Toowoomba or Townsville (other locations considered), this role will see you join a recently expanded team of Regional Asset Planners in the delivery and implementation of maintenance works within regional areas.

YOU CAN ANTICIPATE SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES, AMONGST OTHERS TO INCLUDE:

  • Deliver effective integrated operational and tactical asset management work plans
  • Develop scopes of works management, considering asset criticality and condition through the priority and severity of work requests
  • Prepare, monitor and continually improve maintenance plans
  • Apply high quality data standards in collaboration to ensure accurate planning and data analysis
  • Successfully participate within a team of regional planners striving to achieve planning excellence

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Extensive knowledge of successful asset maintenance methodologies within multi-disciplinary, geographically disperse and Asset Intensive organisations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • High level of knowledge in works management principles
  • Strong experience within a multidiscipline environment
  • High level of conceptual and analytical problem solving skills
    This opportunity enables individuals to join a newly created Planning team and identify scope for business improvement. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a large organisation. Interpersonally, you will have a natural relationship-building ability, and strong communication skills to ensure the ongoing success and continual improvement within the Planning team.
