Description:
The Manager, Business Process supports end users of OMS, the custom Operations Management Software for Environmental Services Operations. The role requires managing system performance, in addition to ensuring in-house software aligns with business goals. Your cross-functional partners include but are not limited to, operations, and development. Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting software, improving, and developing training programs, as well as supporting the development of SOPs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Tech-savvy with a passion for software.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and web technologies like AWS, JIRA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java.
- Experience with MS Office and troubleshooting software.
- Strong problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and quick to grasp new concepts.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (must have a valid passport and able to travel freely between North America).

Responsibilities:
- Analyze application effectiveness and develop strategic roadmaps for improvements.
- Document business requirements, design specifications, and process workflows.
- Test software in a mirrored environment, communicate coding errors, and verify fixes.
- Align software applications with business objectives and act as a subject matter expert.
- Conduct training, offer end-user support, and oversee new hire onboarding.
- Implement feedback mechanisms and analyze results to drive support process improvements.
- Communicate application issues to stakeholders and provide updates on resolutions.
- Maintain and enhance software performance across the organization.
- Assess departmental training needs and deliver targeted training programs.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
