Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Regional Clinical Supervisor (RCS) for the Northern Region who is a proficient multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and a positive outlook. The Regional Clinical Supervisor (RCS) is a trusting and inspiring leader who feels comfortable in an ever-changing workplace and field. They take on new and different challenges with enthusiasm while mentoring others.
The primary function of the Regional Clinical Supervisor is to provide oversight, guidance, support, and training to center-based clinical managers in their assigned region. They partner closely with Regional Operations Supervisors to coach their region through clinical, financial, and operational success.
The RCS coaches and mentors center management teams to develop OBM skill sets to manage their center and technicians to ensure superior service delivery quality and sustain maximum productivity, and efficiency across all levels. The RCS also contributes to the overall improvement of clinical quality and center performance across the company by assisting with the creation and implementation of new processes and procedures through mentorship with their supervisor. The RCS is a high-level clinical management role with the opportunity to impact and influence clinicians on a broad scale. The role reports directly to the Associate Director of Clinical Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience as BCBA supervisor
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a management role
  • Strong team player with the ability to partner with others on a cross-functional team.
  • Reliance on ethical and research-based decision-making and guidance from the BACB
  • Commitment to least restrictive and function-based interventions
  • Previous experience managing BCBA clinicians and/or supervisory roles.
  • Advanced computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Multi-task in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Work independently and follow through with tasks without check-ins or manager oversight.
  • Travel to designated centers within the region and the corporate office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of clinical experience as a BCBA supervisor
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a management role
  • 3+ years of previous experience managing BCBA clinicians and/or supervisory roles in a mid to high-level management role.
  • Knowledge of general Human Resources
  • Established a track record of leadership, specifically in the development and training of staff.
  • Strong background in organizational behavior management, performance management, and behavioral systems analysis
  • Advanced clinical experience (e.g., fluency in conducting experimental analyses)
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance-funded ABA therapy (e.g., insurance approval process, CPT codes, denials, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Organizational and Departmentwide Influence
  • Attend and lead bi-weekly companywide BCBA meetings assisting with implementing clinical training and updates.
  • Participating in monthly Regional Management Team Meetings (at headquarters, in-person) to assist with ongoing development of the clinical department and reach companywide goals/objectives.
  • Participating in the quarterly Regional Management Team Retreats (off-site, in person) to assess upcoming quarterly objectives & determine actions to take.

  • Leads, and/or participates in companywide Continuing Education training.
  • Analyzes information to achieve individual, center, and company goals:
  • Understands and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive clinical quality, efficiency, treatment integrity, and profitability; identifies actions and solutions that will improve performance.
  • Liaises between executive leadership company directors and center staff on strategies, solutions, updates, and concerns.
  • Is a steward of change management. Provides and receives constructive and thorough feedback to improve systems and processes, demonstrates a positive outlook on company strategies, and provides direction and guidance to center staff and coworkers.
