Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager Regional Development, the Regional Development Officer is responsible for assisting in the promotion, delivery and management of a range of economic development initiatives for communities and businesses in the region to identify and facilitate place-based solutions to support enhanced liveability and prosperity in regional communities.
The responsibilities of the Regional Development Officer will include:
- Support integrated investment in place by understanding and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and partners by developing and maintaining relationships and networks with Federal, State and local government, community organisations, business, and industry.
- Support investment attraction, economic development, and the delivery of a range of DJSIR/RDV industry and recovery initiatives across the region.
- Support a portfolio of stakeholders through promoting, delivering and managing a range of development initiatives for community and businesses within the region.
