ABOUT THE ROLE
Mercy Community has recently gone through a significant period of transformation and has realigned services to positively impact the communities and people that we support. As a result of this change, we have a number of newly created Regional Director roles, bringing together disability, families, children and young people programs and services within our Community Services stream.
The Regional Director position is instrumental in delivering exceptional leadership and team performance across operations whilst creating and implementing strategies to drive and achieve Mercy Community’s goals in the Southeast Region (West, North and South).

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Community Services, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure efficient overall operations management of the region aligned with organisational requirements
- Deliver Mercy Community strategy in the region
- Planning, delivery, review, and reporting of programs and services achieves targets and requirements
- Effective management of regional budgets and ongoing financial analysis to support sustainability and growth
- Identify and investigate service gaps and proactively seek / analyse / recommend opportunities aligned with Mercy Community’s strategic direction
- Build capability and lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement that lifts quality and performance and is responsive to cultural diversity and equity
