REGIONAL ENGINEERING MANAGER - NORTH ENGLAND REGION (MANCHESTER, SHEFFIELD, LEEDS/HALIFAX, NORTH OF BIRMINGHAM - FULL TIME

This job will involve overseeing the operations and performance of multi skilled engineers accross location. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with engineering standards, ensuring quality and efficiency and providing technical guidance and support to your direct reports. The post holder will collaborate with other regional managers, senior management and external stakeholders to align engineering objectives with the company’s vision and strategy. You will also manage, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources and tools to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
You will also establish and enforce engineering and safety policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and review engineering projects and activities, ensuring they meet the client’s requirements, budget and timeline. In addition to this you will Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams, resolving any issues or challenges that arise.
The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds or equipment in an appropriate trade qualification. A minimum of 5 years post trade qualification experience. A minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role and health and safety qualification such as a certificate in IOSH Managing Safel
