The Skills You Will Bring to the Team

  • Degree-educated or equivalent, with qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven track record in financial leadership and regional performance delivery.
  • Experience leading finance teams and managing P&L in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail challenges.
  • Proficiency in accounting (IFRS) and financial principles in European markets.
  • Motivational abilities to lead teams across Europe.
  • Adaptability and Change Management: Experience handling tight deadlines, client expectations, and organizational change.
  • Balancing short-term financial goals with long-term growth ambitions while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholder

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collaborate with the VP-Europe business leader to create and execute a 3-year strategic plan for continuous revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Lead the business’s financial performance in alignment with the annual budget, working closely with the Europe leadership team.
  • Be a key influencer and decision-maker on both the GPN Europe leadership team and the global GPN Finance team.
  • Direct and own the annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Lead the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Present actual business results to the executive team through clear written and verbal presentations.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to enhance overall business profitability.
  • Develop business cases for strategic projects and ensure delivery of financial commitments.
  • Work collaboratively with regional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Product Supply).
  • Create a comprehensive set of metrics and analytics to represent business performance effectively.
  • Provide strong leadership to the Finance Team, support organizational changes, and drive continuous system/process enhancements
