Description:

Saint John of God Community Services clg is a Section 38 Agency providing services funded by the Health Service Executive to children and adults with intellectual disability and children, adolescents, and adults with mental ill health. As part of Saint John of God Hospitaller Group, it supports approximately 8,000 children and adults annually with over 3,000 staff and volunteer.
Applications are invited for the following position:

GRADE VI, FINANCE OPERATIONS

LOCATION: Finance Office, Saint John of God Community Mental Health, Lucena Clinic, Rathgar, Dublin 6- Hybrid working possible.

The following is intended for the guidance of the person assigned to the post but is not an exhaustive listing of the duties associated with the post:

  • Contribute to high performance and achievement within Finance by collaborating cross-functionally, building a supportive environment and working both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Approving and overseeing the weekly and monthly payroll
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Managing banks reconciliations and cash flow
  • Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting function within CMH Services
  • To provide timely and relevant finance reports to the management team in CMH Services
  • To be an active part of the Finance Leadership Team and attend the weekly meetings
  • To ensure timely and accurate returns are made when required to all stakeholders
  • To be involved in the auditing process, both internal and external
  • Any other duties requested upon by Director of Finance or Financial Controller
  • Responsibility for completing Beds & Specialing spreadsheet and submitting to HSE.
  • Supervision, support and development of finance staff
  • Business process re-engineering
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and word
