Description:
Join our dynamic team as our new Regional Head East Europe / Asia Corn & Sunflower (m/f/d) overseeing the growth and strategic development of our corn & sunflower business in the region.
We are passionate about innovation in agriculture and committed to driving sustainable success across multiple countries.
The position is permanent and will be filled on a full-time basis at the earliest possible date.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Drive regional growth and take ownership of the Business Unit’s performance across countries like BY, UA, MD, RU, KZ, JP and others, ensuring profitability and success.
- Together with the other Business Units lead the local team with the direct reporting line of the Country Heads
- Sales & Marketing Strategy:
- Contribute to designing and implementing robust sales and marketing strategies tailored to regional needs, working closely with the Country Heads to empower their teams
- Explore new region or business opportunities (with direct commercial activities or via licensing agreements) within the region
- Establish a strong connection between local and global portfolio managers as well as with the breeding teams
- Portfolio Management
- Lead the lifecycle management of varieties, integrating localized expertise and aligning market demands with breeding goals
- Define the most suitable portfolio for the different markets aligning the customer needs with the financial targets of the company
- Stablish a strong connection between local and global portfolio managers as well as with the breeding teams
- Agroservice:
- Ensure the best technical and agronomical knowledge of the local teams ensuring proper exchange among the teams (local, regional and internationally)
- Support the development of digital tools for serving both, the demand of our customers but also the internal needs
- Plan and execute learning programs both for the local teams as well as for key customers and partners in the region
