Description:
LEADERSHIP AND DIRECTION
- Communicate the actions needed to implement the function’s strategy and business plan within the team
- Explain the relationship to the broader organization’s mission, vision and values
- Motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
- Develop policies and processes, create best practices, set up case studies, and deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions to capture, and share knowledge on project/ program outcomes and innovative practices in a particular area of expertise to share knowledge among colleagues and to support the practice
- Maintains current knowledge regarding community and regional healthcare market and industry issues which may impact business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 6-10 years experience in substantial general work together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level
- Over 6-10 years experience in planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework
- Proven track record as a business leader in growth, innovation, turn-around and cost cutting business environments, especially coordinating cross-country and cross-functional teams
- Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical technology is a benefit
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for all aspects of the division including academic activity, clinical service, operations, and growth
- Work closely with the General Manager to create efficient clinical services that deliver compassionate and evidence-based care for hospitalized patients, building a culture based on teamwork, open communication, excellent clinical care, innovation and accountability
- Oversee the implementation of the international care delivery strategy by focusing on both high quality of service and cost effectiveness
