JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Regional Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs across our projects in the Leinster region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, a passion for ensuring a safe working environment, and the ability to lead a team to achieve our safety goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s EHS Management System on allocated projects.
- Promote a positive Health and Safety culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors and workers and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and develop effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised Health and Safety Degree or Diploma.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- At least 10 or more years’ of industry experience.
- Previous Construction experience is preferred (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Commercial)
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
