ABOUT THE ROLE
DP World are currently recruiting for a Regional HSE Advisor, the role will report into the Senior Director HSSE for Europe Ports & Terminals. The purpose of this role is to mentor, advise & assist regional & business unit based HSE Managers, manage continual safety & environmental improvement at regional and business unit level(s) through the development of programs, standards, HSE application / systems, and best practices. Give guidance on HSE management and ensure compliance with policy and standards is achieved , analyse HSE reporting and work with HSE contacts at each Business Unit to ensure that communications around HSE processes and incidents are accurate.
This role shall act as a regional source of expertise in HSE matters and shall work to share best practice throughout the Region. This shall include working on the following key areas:
- Provide input for AI support for communication in HSE, creation of video content, creation of SIF learning debriefs,…
- Provide expertise in interactive communications to our stakeholders.
- Develop, write, and maintain a variety of HSE reports, documents, correspondence, and records related to DP World including safety data, energy, and environment initiatives.
- Provide assistance to the sites on safe working practices and HSE procedures.
- Develop and maintain Regional Environmental and Safety Management Standard that is based on the principles of ISO Management Systems pertaining to our highest risks.
- Manage systems and practices that measure and consequently encourage continual improvement in HSSE performance.
- Develop periodic HSE monitoring report based on input received from terminals in the region. Ensure data accuracy is checked and analyse data with a view to identify improvement recommendations.
- Work within PowerBI to update dashboards and scorecards
- Provide in depth analysis on HSE data from HSE applications and PowerBI, such as LTI’s, potential serious incidents, hazards, inspections, effectiveness of actions.
- Visit operating entities as part of the regional governance initiatives – inspection, audits, etc.Promote HSE awareness across the region to ensure HSE is prioritized in our day-to-day activities. Generate innovative ideas to move HSE forward in the region
