Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman, Julia Hands MBE. Whilst each hotel is individual, every property fulfils the company values of family, individuality, community and care, ensuring a hand picked experience for every guest and employee.
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Human Resources Manager to oversee over Human Resources team located in the Channel Islands. This role would ideally be located at St Pierre Park Hotel in Guernsey, however their is also an option for this role to be based in one of our hotels in Jersey.

Responsibilities:

  • As Regional Human Resources Manager for the Channel Islands you will partner 5 hotels located in Jersey, Guernsey, and Alderney in the Channel Islands.
  • This full-time role is needed on a Monday to Friday basis with a base in Guernsey or Jersey, depending on the location of the applicant.
  • Frequent travel will be required to other hotels within the Channel Islands and to the mainland to attend team meetings.
  • As the Regional Human Resources Manager, you will support our team leaders to effectively manage and develop their teams in the delivery of an unrivalled guest experience.
  • You will champion the employee value proposition, continuing to build on existing successes. You will also collaborate with HR colleagues to create, develop and embed initiatives that support to drive business success.
  • You will lead and coach a small team, with administration support provided by our HR shared services team.
  • Within this role you will have the opportunity to work within a wider Human Resources function this includes our HR team headed up by our People Director, this also includes our Training and Development and Talent Acquisition team.
