JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Officer (ISO) for a global reputable business. The successful candidate will join the Global Information Security team, acting as the bridge between technology and business functions to enhance cyber security capabilities. You will work closely with counterparts in Europe and the USA, managing different time zones effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10 years in information security, with a strong technical background.
- Proven experience in managing security control frameworks, including policy development and procedure implementation
- Strong ability to gather, present, and analyse security data to improve risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting cyber security awareness campaigns and training exercises.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to person for implementing cyber security projects in the APAC region. Provide strategic guidance and support to ensure regional cyber security initiatives are successful.
- Gather, present, and analyse security reports to identify areas of improvement.
- Implement measures to mitigate risks and enhance overall cyber security.
- Lead efforts to raise cyber security awareness across the firm. Conduct campaigns and exercises to educate employees on best practices and minimum security standards.
- Translate complex security procedures into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. Ensure that business units understand and comply with security requirements.
- Ensure that global security plans and strategies are executed effectively in the APAC region. Collaborate with local management teams to tailor and implement these plans according to regional needs.
