This newly created position will complement the existing inventory management skills within the team with the added focus on evaluating slow-moving and obsolete stock and recommending strategies to improve stock health across the APAC region. This role will also serve as the primary point of contact for the replenishment of Rotary and Raise Bore products across the APAC region.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Rotary and Raise Bore
  • Manage replenishment for AU and SEA.
  • Work with Sales to optimise replenishment parameters.
  • Work with Demand Planners to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Work with product line managers, global planning and product applications specialists to coordinate new product introductions/trials across APAC.
  • Contribute to monthly demand consensus reviews specific to trials and new product introduction.
  • Responsibility for all local AU purchasing activities, including InRock.
  • Champion slow moving and obsolete inventory reduction for all product lines across APAC, ensuring all follow up actions are closed out.
  • Analysis of forecasts and stock on hand to ensure inventory is optimised and balanced across regional stockrooms.
  • Primary point of contact for Barminco order management and customer liaison.
  • Liaison with warehouse teams across APAC to ensure resolution and close out of LPS tickets.

Your profile

  • Qualification in supply or inventory management discipline (certificate or above) or demonstrable experience in inventory planning.
  • Mining or heavy industry experience.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills supported by advanced MS Excel capability.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA Order Management or Materials Management.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Strong energy/drive and the ability to meet and exceed organisational goals.

What we offer

  • Flexible work arrangements, including options for working from home, condensed workweeks, and flexible start/finish times.
  • Competitive salary with a superannuation contribution of 13%.
  • Company Performance Bonus scheme and Length of Service Recognition program.
  • Paid parental leave and ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Join a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to driving success and supporting employee growth.
