We are seeking a leader with a passion for collaboration and operational excellence, a professional who is driven to foster continuous improvement to enhance organisational efficiency and performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of managers and service delivery staff
  • Understanding of the government funded employment programs and an ability to interpret contract requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience in multi-site management
  • Strong business acumen and a proven ability to work with KPI’s and targets to achieve/exceed performance and financial objectives
  • Well-developed IT knowledge and experience in Windows and Web based applications
  • Proven high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others
  • Proven effective problem-solving and mediation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a proactive, diverse team and create a positive, inclusive work culture

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading by example to foster a culture in which our people feel empowered to challenge and refine work practices, focus on continuous improvement, maintain safe practices for themselves and others and demonstrate our Help values.
  • Maximise contract performance by interpreting and operationalising contractual obligations and performance targets set by the government authority and developing strategies to deliver on these
  • Monitor internal regional trends, issues, problems and opportunities engaging in proactive management strategies as preference
  • Provide effective leadership, mentoring and direction to the Business Managers and Branch Leaders with a focus on supporting the team to grow, develop and lift the individual cluster performance.
  • Cultivate and lead a service culture within the region that is focused on safe best practice employment disability supports and customer experience
  • Demonstrate and encourage a continuous improvement or growth mindset through identifying improvement opportunities and solutions in how we practice and deliver core services and responding positively to suggestions from the regional team.
  • Successfully manage the regions financial performance through effective revenue and cost management
  • Drive performance to ensure star rating performance as measured by the Government Authority is maximised across the region
  • Build a highly effective regional leadership team capable of driving the performance necessary to achieve strategic objectives and create a positive employee experience for all team members
  • Effectively and promptly manage any escalated customer complaints with integrity and a sense of urgency, in consultation with relevant team members setting a good example for complaints management
  • Personally comply with HELP’s Code of Conduct and all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and actively encourage the same of all regional team member
