Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team as we strive to make a positive impact on a global scale. As a leader in the Marketing field, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Regional Marketing and act as the voice of the customer for our pharmaceutical sector in North America and Europe. You will play a crucial role in coordinating the development and implementation of regional campaigns and globally developed programs to support revenue objectives for our pharmaceutical portfolio. This is an exceptionally exciting and dynamic position within an amazing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a successful plan to achieve financial and market goals for designated portfolios, including instruments and consumables.
  • Develop, manage, and report on portfolio-/region-specific marketing plans, tactics, and roadmaps from concept to completion, alongside other regional and global marketing managers.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify new market opportunities and ensure a healthy marketing funnel.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and communicate the success of marketing campaigns and tactics to different teams, including business leaders.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners to develop impactful tools for incremental revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement tools to promote sales force activation, effectiveness, and engagement.
  • Manage marketing budget, metrics, and roadmaps to ensure timely execution and adherence to plan.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to meet regional needs for key channels and customer segments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in molecular biology, genetics, biology, microbiology, or related field. Equivalent experience in these fields will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability in marketing or product marketing.
  • Strong marketing performance history including web, ecommerce, seminars, conferences, and digital channels.
  • Knowledge of microbiology pharmaceutical markets, key competitors, and technology applications.
  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions based on data.
  • Effective interpersonal, social, and presentation skills.
