Overview:
Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an experienced Regional Outside Sales Manager!
The Regional Outside Sales Manager (ROSM) is responsible for leading a team of outside salespeople to achieve profitable sales growth within their assigned territory. The ROSM provides leadership and support to their team by being present in the field for joint sales calls, relationship building, prospecting, value creation, and training.
The purpose of this position is to create value added focus, support and leadership that results in profitable sales growth. The nature of this work requires the Regional Outside Sales Manager to be in the field with their direct reports at least 75% of their time.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieves sales and margin goals for the assigned territory in alignment with company and regional objectives
  • Works with Regional Manager to create and execute sales plans
  • Hands-on product knowledge and value proposition training
  • Conducts market analysis and sales strategy development
  • Develops and expands core business
  • Provides leadership in launching new products and services such as Decking, Railing & Outdoor Structures

Qualifications:

  • Excellent face-to-face sales, training, and presentation skills with both small and large groups
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Ability to support sales teams in new product expansion to meet company targets
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization
  • Creative problem solver with hands on engagement and solid business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively motivate and support the sales team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to travel outside the local area and/or over night 50%-75% of the time

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Sales, Sales Leadership, Sales Training Experience
  • Related industry experience preferred (Decking, Railing, Fencing, Outdoor Living Products, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Hires, trains, coaches, and leads Outside Sales Associates and other outside sales positions as assigned and required
  • Conducts on-the-job training with their team to train, provide value which is customer-serving, build long-lasting business relationships and sell products
  • Utilizes the Master Halco STEPS training program to create value for associates and customers
  • The Regional Outside Sales Manager must become a Master Halco STEPS program expert with the ability to lead and train associates using the program
  • Ensures salespeople are aware of all available sales tools and resource
