Overview:
Under the direction of the Vice President, Public Affairs, the Regional Relationship Manager leads relationship building strategies in targeted regions across the Novant Health footprint. Successful candidates will exhibit a keen understanding of political advocacy campaign tactics, particularly as experienced grassroots/grasstops organizers, volunteer recruiters, and support generators.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, required.
• Experience: Seven or more years of advocacy, government relations, coalition building, or campaign field organizing experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Healthcare issue background experience, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required):
• Exemplary interpersonal skills that translate into positive relationships with external contacts, internal colleagues, and leaders. Commitment to working in a team environment with an emphasis on exceptional team and cross-department collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability distill complex concepts for public and elected official audiences. Ability to demonstrate initiative, ownership and accountability of projects. Ability to successfully manage multiple priority projects simultaneously without significant direct supervision.
