The Regional Sales Director Investment Solutions, Outside Wholesale promotes and sells investment products to independent financial advisors in the province of Alberta. Ideal candidate must be located in either the Calgary or Edmonton region and will travel between these areas regularly. Preference will be given to individuals that have existing client relationships in the IIROC, MFDA and MGA markets in this area. You will be required to :

• Provides information on Desjardins investment solutions to independent advisors from all intermediary networks
• Promotes mutual funds, segregated funds, PPNs, annuities and ETFs to meets the needs of financial advisors
• Meet and exceed sales and activity targets
• Schedule and conduct meeting with existing and new financial advisors
• Uses and analyzes information from the CRM, targets the best producers, identifies their support needs and provides them with updates, feedback and advice
• Identifies communication and training activities that could be developed to help all the producers in the network
• Acts as an investment product expert
• Manage regional yearly regional sales budget
• Deliver group presentations

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Holds Financial Planner Title, CFA, CSC or CIM
• Available for extensive travel required
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
