As our Regional Sales Manager, you will be a part of a team and play an integral role by identifying the key players with target customers for Rail Transportation’s core end markets. You will leverage the extensive network of experts within Winchester to enable you to engage with those key contacts and thus facilitate today’s most important technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- New business adds and wins
- Weekly engineer-to-engineer engagements at key customers
- Cross-selling NBOs
- Demonstrate strong technical understanding of our products and industries
- Have a solid virtual presence and be skilled at virtual selling
- At least 5 years of familiarity with interconnect solutions used in rail mass transit and oil gas applications applications is crucial
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for the interconnect industry
- Utilize Consultative Selling Skills
- Engineering degree and MBA preferred but not required

Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR?
- Establish and execute a strategy to win new business to achieve TQA and DM Shipped targets
- Develop key contacts and manage customer relationships at Top accounts
- Increase cross-selling within Winchester technology divisions
- Create technical documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations that effectively convey the value of the company’s solutions
- Manage opportunity pipeline and create accurate forecasting with a high close rate
WHAT ARE YOU EMPOWERED TO DO?
- Define Top Target Customers and develop account penetration strategies
- Develop/Present NBOs to selected product groups to ensure the greatest likelihood of winning
- Build relationships with customers through face-to-face visits and/or virtual engagements
- Manage manufacturer’s reps (if any)
- Collaboratively work with business units on sales needs and strategy to achieve growth targets
