QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Business Management/Sales or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in the Coatings Services industry
- Minimum 5 years of team management experience
- Strong market knowledge of the industry
- Extensive knowledge of refinish technology and technical requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the profitability including sales, cost control, and the efficient operational running of the Johannesburg region
- Monitor and control the sales team, ensuring they meet sales targets and objectives
- Provide leadership and management to direct reports through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication
- Provide guidance and support to the sales representatives, including advising on pricing and quotation strategies
- Manage customer allocations and ensure efficient customer segmentation
- Oversee sales reports and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Foster strong customer relationships, addressing grievances and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Collaborate with the Technical department to resolve customer and technical issues
- Have regular one-on-one meetings with the reps to discuss their portfolios
- Ensure reps and techs are aware of new products/technologies
- Strategize and develop effective sales plans to drive revenue growth
- Chase up all outstanding debtors to collect monies owing.
- Foster healthy relations with CRM
- Draft/Compile and manage rebate agreements and supply agreements.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
