Job Description
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation.
- Sell the company’s products and services.
- Planning, executing and monitoring all measures necessary to achieve budget.
- Planning all meetings with customers and maintaining and updating daily reports.
- Organising and conducting product related training for current and potential participants and participating in educational opportunities and workshops.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of divisional guidelines.
- Handle the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service team.
- Analyse the territory’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time and money investment for the territory.
- Regular reporting to the divisional Manager on the evolution of sales and adaptation of the circumstances of the market.
- Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, with feedback in the form of formal reports.
- Continuously develop and understand new products in order to maximise customer potential through the introduction of new products.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12, bachelor’s degree
- 5 -7 years professional experience in Medical Sales, ideally in the area of microsurgery.
- Knowledge and experience in the theatre environment.
- Knowledge of the medical technology market of Neurosurgery, Spine, ENT, Platics and Dental.
