Description:

JOB FUNCTION: The Regional Sales and Operations Manager responsible for representing Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) brand by providing sales and operations oversight and support to a territory of OTF studios within the Dallas – Fort Worth area. This position is responsible for managing sales and operations personnel, recruiting sales and operations staff, assisting with new hire and continuous education trainings, and developing staff within a designated region. This includes assisting the COO with any projects and tasks as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong presentation skills; ability to effectively give training presentations to small groups, with experience in training/mentoring.
  • Organizing and maintaining training information and staff training records.
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of different cultures.
  • Ability to represent the OTF brand on a local and regional platform.
  • Experience in the fitness industry in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and utilize discretionary judgement in decision-making
  • Planning and coordinating operations in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Self-motivated and driven fitness professional.
  • Compliance with the OTF Brand.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field a plus
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as in the fitness industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management position
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in managing a fitness facility

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading, managing, and assessing the performance of sales and operations personnel within a designated region using the OTF business model and policies.
  • Build Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) memberships, retaining current clientele and achieving monthly key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
  • Responsible for understanding and continuously analyzing the territory’s business intelligence metrics, including managing, auditing, and submitting numerous KPI reports, to uncover trends and poor performance symptoms, and provide intelligent, effective, and timely solutions for market and studio growth.
  • Conduct regular studio leadership meetings, assist in facilitating monthly leadership meetings, and attend all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings.
  • Assess studio manager performance and exercise discretionary judgement to determine if candidates consistently meet regional criteria and standards.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with fitness, accounting, IT, marketing, and other corporate counterparts to achieve financial and KPI goals, customer service benchmarks, and drive territory growth, subsequently aiding in overall company growth.
  • Responsible for facilitating follow up communication, handling member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution, and aiding in sustained customer service.
  • Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and initial development of current and potential sales and operations staff in a region.
  • Identify ongoing development needs of sales and operations personnel throughout a respective OTF region and create, implement, and hold staff accountable to innovative solutions to educational needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of efficient brand processes in collaboration with the regional sales and operations team.
  • Culturally sensitive and able to adjust learning styles to meet unique cultural needs.
  • Promote compliance to quality control and brand standards.
  • Perform quarterly audits for each studio and regularly scheduled sales and operations staff evaluations.
  • Maintain current, active employee files which include resume, CPR/AED cards, and applicable certifications.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, including special events, when needed and as requested by your supervisor.
