Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor to join our supportive Mental Health and Addictions services multidisciplinary team full time (40 hours per week) based in Kaitaia.
We provide a full range of mental health and alcohol and drug services including assessment, group therapy, family/whānau and individual interventions. We work with both the person and their family to achieve the best possible results.
This role offers opportunities to support positive health outcomes for Maori receiving treatment and care in Northland. You will provide a referral, assessment, alcohol and drug interventions and duty intervention service within Alcohol and Drug Services. Applicants need to possess a willingness to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the service by participating in the development and delivery of quality enhancement initiatives.
