Description:
REGISTERED MANAGER
Salary: Up to £50,400 per annum plus £750 on Call allowance – Depending on experience and qualifications, we can be flexible with the salary for exceptional candidates.
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire - Great Travel links to the area.
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week - Generally Monday to Friday with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sycamore is a residential short breaks centre for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18 years, with severe, profound, or multiple learning and/or physical disabilities who may have complex health care needs.
You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining the culture across the service that seeks to support staff to provide high quality care towards transforming the young people’s lives.
You and your staff will work closely with the young people’s family, health, education, and social care partners, to provide them with high quality support.
WE WILL ACTIVELY SUPPORT YOU IN YOUR ROLE AND PROVIDE YOU AND YOUR TEAM WITH SPECIALIST TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT, AND SUPERVISION.
About You
- You will bring substantial management experience in children’s residential care, alongside a NVQ Level or Diploma level 5 in Leadership and management in Residential Childrens services qualification which the registered provider (Action for Children) considers to be equivalent to level 5 Diploma or a willingness to work towards the level 5 with completion to be within 2 years.
- Your track record will be demonstrated by Good or Outstanding OFSTED ratings for homes in which you’ve held leadership roles.
