SALARY UP TO £65,000 PER ANNUM, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Georgian House is a 35-bed residential home situated in the coastal town of Torquay in Devon. We specialise in supporting adults with complex mental health and physical health conditions, from the ages of 18 upwards. We manage and effectively run a large team of 80+ employees from care assistants, support workers, domestic and ancillary staff.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and caring individual to become Registered Manager, working in a large complex care home, specialising in Mental Health and Physical Disability for Adults from the age of 18 upwards. About the Role: The role requires a strong and determined individual with the energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and passion to drive our service forward. You work effectively within a team environment supported by a solid senior management team.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing effective leadership, creating a clear vision and operating a trauma-informed, person-centred service model. You will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a large complex care home with mental health provision and possess an in-depth working knowledge of trauma informed mental health support and person-centred care approaches and be able to support our staff in their development of these approaches. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire our staff to live our values of BEST (Belonging, Excellence, Support and Trust).
As Registered Manager, you will work closely with our service users, their families, and professionals to support the care and support provision of complex individuals who can present with daily challenges.
You will be supported by our established leadership team. You will oversee and assist every aspect of care, and the staffing needs within the home, including developing and updating care plans and risk assessments and other regulatory paperwork, including maintaining clear, accurate, reporting of all daily and medication records.
