Description:
Options exist for you to work in either a permanent full-time or part-time capacity within our Post Natal ward at Epworth Freemasons.
The Maternity Services department consists of 9 birth suites, 10 bed special care nursery, 34 bed postnatal unit and a 6 bed hospital in the Park Hyatt Hotel and currently accommodates approximately 3,000 births per annum.
Responsibilities:
An excellent communicator, you value team work and strong camaraderie as you place the patient at the heart of all your decisions. Flexibility in your thinking, patience and the ability to manage multiple priorities is vital to your success.
You will have:
- Current unrestricted midwifery registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience working in a Birth Suite or Post Natal ward
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in maternity and newborn nursing care and the patient journey
