Remuneration: $35.32- $49.60 per hour, excluding superannuation.
About the role
The Registered Nurse (Emergency Medicine) is responsible for the provision of high quality, safe, people-focused care to achieve desired clinical outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have emergency nursing experience and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. This role requires you to be available to work all shifts on a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, night shift and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
Delivers all care within scope of practice as defined by practice setting and competence.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues and supervisors regarding patient care and assessments.
What you bring
Recent clinical experience in acute care or emergency nursing.
Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Knowledge of and willingness to work towards achieving Emergency Department Key Performance Indicators
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and in periods of high demand and activity.
