An exciting opportunity awaits for a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care and Emergency Department at Lithgow Hospital on a permanent full time or part time basis.
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure provision of safe and effective patient-centred nursing care to the patients/clients and carers of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. Your role as Registered Nurse will require you to demonstrate knowledge and application of the skills required of a registered nurse in contemporary nursing practice, including knowledge and understanding of appropriate equipment, legislation, policies and procedures. This includes maintaining patient comfort, privacy, dignity and safety at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Recent experience working in an acute care environment
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Occupational Health & Safety in the workplace
- Able to perform effectively as a team member
- Ability to work 7 day rotating roster including morning evening & night shift
