Description:
This post provides an excellent opportunity for role development as a Band 6 RN within the Critical Care setting.
The post holder will be required to ensure the highest standard of patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the University Health Board and contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures within their sphere of responsibility.
The post holder will plan implement and evaluate care according to changing needs and varying complexity of the patient.
The post holder will prioritize and deliver care in collaboration with other health care professionals.
The post holder will involve patients and where appropriate relatives and carers in planning and delivering care.
The post holder will facilitate information exchange of patient related conditions and treatment at the end of the shift.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post holder will be required to ensure the highest standard of patient care which reflects the quality standards and mission of CTMUHB for acutely ill patients with differing levels of acuity and contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures within their sphere of responsibility. They will directly deliver highly skilled nursing care being supervised and supervising as needed. They will manage their own time to work largely independently within their sphere of competence.
They will support junior staff and be given an insight to shift management
